Scotland return to action for the first time since their early exit from the World Cup this summer as they begin their Nations League campaign with games against Slovenia and Switzerland next month.
After confirming the appointment of Sebastien Pocognoli as Scotland’s new head coach, there’ll be huge intrigue around the squad announcement, as fans eagerly await to see which players have a part to play in the post-Steve Clarke era.
A host of young, uncapped, and emerging talents are eyeing their first Scotland call-up under the new Belgian boss, while several experienced heads will be sweating over their inclusion after an underwhelming World Cup earlier this summer. But which players will be the next to break into the Scotland senior side?
Here are the 10 players we’re tipping to catch the eye of Pocognoli and make a claim for a Scotland senior squad call-up for the September Nations League double-header:

1. Colby Donovan - Celtic
Already a regular at Under-21s level, Donovan has made huge strides over the last 12 months. Playing close to 30 times last season, the teenager played a big role in last season's title win and has ousted Anthony Ralston in the pecking order. He was trusted to start in the Champions League playoff clash against LASK in the absence of the injured Alistair Johnston, and has shown he can not only handle the big occasion, but also flourish in it. | SNS Group Photo: SNS Group

2. Calvin Miller - Hearts
The 28-year-old winger was touted as a potential World Cup squad candidate after his impressive campaign with Falkirk last year, but couldn’t force his way into Steve Clarke’s thoughts for the tournament. Moved to Hearts in the summer and has started fairly well at Tynecastle. Should Pocognoli want fresh options on the left flank, Miller will stand a solid chance of being included in the squad. | SNS Group Photo: SNS Group

3. Luke Graham - Stoke City
One of Scotland's brightest defensive talents, he moved to the EFL Championship with Stoke City for a fee of £2million in the summer. He also joined Scotland's squad ahead of the World Cup as a training player and has been on the cusp of a senior call-up for several months. A strong start at the bet365 Stadium could see him included in Pocognoli’s first squad. | SNS Group Photo: SNS Group

4. Robbie Ure - Sevilla
Ure is the most in-form Scottish striker on the planet right now; Ure has recently been snapped up by Spanish giants Sevilla for a fee of approximately £7.6 million. He bagged goals for fun at Swedish second-tier outfit IK Sirius before his move to La Liga, and is surely deserves a spot in the Scotland senior squad. | Sevilla FC Photo: Sevilla FC
