Hibs and Motherwell land reasonable Conference League draws and avoid big guns
Potential trips to Finland and North Macedonia await if duo progress
Hibs and Motherwell have been handed reasonable potential Conference League third round opponents after the draw was made on Monday afternoon.
The Scottish pair kick off their second qualifying round ties this week and now know who they could play if they manage to make progress in UEFA’s third-tier tournament.
Should Hibs defeat Kosovan side KF Malisheva in the second qualifying round, then they will take on either NK Bravo of Slovenia or North Macedonian side KF Shkendija.

While NK Bravo, who finished third in the Slovenian PrvaLiga last season and play at the Stožice Stadium in the capital Ljubljana, have only played in Europe once before, KF Shkendija are experienced campaigners and played Aberdeen in 2015. They finished runners-up in the 2025/26 Macedonian First League.
KF Shkendija come from the city of Tetovo and play at the Ecolog Arena, which has a capacity of 15,000.
Motherwell could face an old foe in Coleraine should the Fir Park outfit overcome Faroese side HB in their second qualifying round tie. The Steelmen will take on the Northern Irish side - who they played in 2020 - or Finnish outfit HJK Helsinki, who are in the competition after the winning the Finnish Cup last season.
HJK play at the Töölö Football Stadium (capacity 10,770) and recently played Aberdeen in the Conference League. Coleraine play at the The Showgrounds (capacity 2,500) and were second in the NIFL Premiership last season.
Among their squad are Scottish players Connor Murray, Lewis McGregor, Jay Henderson and Aidan Wilson.
