Conference League 26/27 playoff draw: TV and streaming details plus Hibs and Motherwell potential opponents

Both sides progressed to the third qualifying round with wins over HB Torshavn and KF Malisheva last week, and are now just two steps away from the League Phase of the competition.

However, before they can even begin to dream of a European tour, both sides must progress past their third-round qualifiers, which begin on August 6. Motherwell will look to progress past HJK Helsinki, while Hibs will battle it out with KF Shkendija, with both second legs taking place seven days later after the first leg.

Elsewhere, both Rangers and Hearts could find themselves dropping into this competition if they fail to qualify from their Europa League qualifiers. However, it will be all or nothing for Motherwell and Hibs in the Conference League, who have no fallback if they don’t make it out of the qualifying stage.

When is Conference League playoff draw?

The Conference League playoff qualifying draw takes place on Monday, August 3, and will take place in Nyon, Switzerland.

Where can I watch the Conference League playoff draw?

UEFA say the seedings, any groupings and the procedure will be available here from 7.30am UK time on the day of the draw. The draw begins at 1pm UK time, but will not be broadcast on TV. However, it can be streamed via the UEFA website or their YouTube channel.

Who could Motherwell and Hibs face in Conference League playoff?

Motherwell will play in the Conference League playoff round if they can beat HJK Helsinki in the third qualifying round. This means they will draw one of the seeded teams/pairings. UEFA will narrow this pool down into smaller sub-groups as of Monday, 3 August 2026. The same applies to Hibs, who face KF Shkendija.
