Hearts winger to depart as club accept £1.7m transfer offer
Key attacker moving on after 12 months at Tynecastle
Hearts will bid farewell to winger Alexandros Kyziridis after accepting an offer for the Greek international.
The 25-year-old has been left out of the Hearts matchday squad for the Scottish Premiership game against Dundee United on Sunday and now appears to have played his last game for the club.
According to the Edinburgh Evening News, a £1.7m transfer fee has been agreed with an unnamed Turkish club and Kyziridis is expected to travel to finalise the move this week.

The deal represents a sizeable profit for Hearts on a player they signed for nothing last summer following the expiry of his contract at Slovakian Slovakian club Zemplín Michalovce.
Indetified through the Gorgie club’s recruitment partner, Jamestown Analytics, Kyziridis agreed a three-year contract at Tynecastle and became an instant hit with supporters. He played 42 games for Hearts last season, scoring six goals and claiming 11 assists, although his form dipped in the second half of the campaign.
Kyziridis’ form earned him his first senior international cap for his country at the end of last season. He came on as a 62nd-minute substitute for Georgios Masouras during Greece’s 1-0 friendly defeat by Italy at Pankritio Stadium in Heraklion in June.
There is also strong transfer interest in Hearts’ Portuguese forward, Claudio Braga, who could also depart Tynecastle before the transfer window closes on Septmember 3. English side Ipswich Town, French club Lyon and Turkish side Trabzonspor are all among his suitors.
