Hearts haven't given up hope of Jamie Walker signing new deal
Hearts boss Ian Cathro says the club are happy to let Jamie Walker's current contract run down if they don't receive the right offer - and they haven't given up hope of getting the star midfielder to agree to an extension.

Walker has been the subject of two offers from Rangers, both of which were immediately rejected by the Tynecastle side.
The player has informed Hearts management of his desire to move on from the club, but Hearts will not sell sort of their £1million asking price, despite his expiring deal.
Unless a team comes in with such an offer, Walker will remain a Hearts player throughout the 2017/18 season, and his manager has not given up on getting the 24-year-old tied down on a new contract
He said: “The situation with Jamie ended up being a bit too noisy for what it actually was. Some things ended up becoming a bit silly.
“But Jamie has dealt with it fine and trained really well. He is focusing on how he improves himself for next season and he’s in a good place.
“If he doesn’t sign on again his contract will expire and that will be that. But have we given up hope on him agreeing a new deal? Not at all.”
