The Europa League gets underway again this season, with the opening matches starting later this week.
Only one Scottish team will compete in the Europa League this term, with both Rangers and Hearts failing to qualify for the competition through the playoffs. At the same time, Celtic’s 5-4 aggregate loss to LASK in the Champions League qualifiers condemned them to a second successive season in the second tier European competition.
Several new faces arrive in the competition this year, with English Premier League trio Sunderland, AFC Bournemouth and Crystal Palace all taking part. Meanwhile, Italian giants Juventus and AC Milan will also take part after failing to secure their own Champions League spots after underwhelming league campaigns last year. But who are the favourites to win the competition? And how do the bookies rate Celtic’s chances of success?
Here are the latest odds for the Europa League 2026/27.*
