The new Champions League season is now underway, with Europe’s elite clashing in matchday one of the competition this week.

Current holders Paris Saint-Germain will be hoping to make history by becoming the first French team to retain their status as champions, and only the third team in history, since it rebranded from the European Cup in 1992. However, they’ll face stiff competition from several of Europe’s biggest clubs, with Barcelona, Liverpool, and Real Madrid all eyeing their own shot at glory this year.
