Rangers’ interest in Scott Wright is now widely acknowledged, but the Ibrox club have also distanced themselves from a move for Coventry midfielder Gustav Hamer this week.
Across Glasgow Celtic have also been quiet on the transfer front, but with no shortage of headlines coming out of the club or Lennoxtown.
Indeed, it’s been a fairly quiet fortnight across the SPFL in terms of moves – with Hibs being the busiest club in the market.
That could still change though and maybe the clubs and officials are just thrashing out terms for a flurry of activity in the final days of the January window.
And it could well be the case if the gossip and speculation in today’s Scottish Premiership Rumour Mill is anything to go by.
There is plenty of interest - both outgoing and incoming - for fans to mull over.
