Neil Lennon returned to the dug-out after missing the previous two games – both draws – through isolation consequences of Christopher Jullien’s positive Covid-19 test result.
However the manager’s return was not enough to get the better of Livingston for a second successive game.
This time the sides shared four goals after Saturday’s scoreless draw at Celtic Park.
Livingston took the lead through Cieron Brown taking advantage at of Celtic’s defensive hesitancy to knock in the opener but Moi Elyounoussi flicked in an equaliser and Nir Bitton put Celtic ahead at the break after a sublime through ball from Calum McGregor.
However Livingston levelled again when Jay-Emmanuel Thomas tapped in as the snow fell, and as if a fourth game without a win wasn’t bad enough for Neil Lennon, he saw his club captain Scott Brown sent off for an elbow five minutes after coming on.
Here’s how we rated the Celtic performance at the Tony Macaroni Arena, using our usual ratings scale.
Player ratings scale - 10: One of best performances you've seen. 9: Outstanding. 8: Very good. 7: Good. 6: Average. 5: Poor, 4: Very poor. 3: Terrible day at office. 2: Abysmal. 1: One of worst performances you've seen.

9. Ryan Christie - 5
Not in the game nearly enough and a shadow of the Scotland hero of last year. Conceded possession poorly for Livingston's leveller. Photo: Craig Foy - SNS Group

10. Mohamed Elyounoussi - 7
One of Celtic's better players and a delightful finish for the equaliser. Could have imposed himself on the second half more to be the difference maker. Photo: Alan Harvey - SNS Group

11. Leigh Griffiths - 6
An attacking danger in flashes but not able to maintain a constant threat for long enough. Replaced by Klimala with 20 to go. Photo: SNS Group Craig Williamson

12. Neil Lennon
Named a strong team but saw yet more points drift away in the snow - only three from a possible 12 this year. Photo: Alan Harvey - SNS Group
