Celtic will kick off their pre-season preparations with a visit to League of Ireland side Shelbourne at Tolka Park in Dublin this Tuesday night.
Martin O’Neill’s side's first test of the summer, the Scottish champions are likely to be without a number of players due to their involvement in the World Cup, though first-team stars Colby Donovan, Callum McGregor and Luke McCowan have travelled to the Irish capital and are likely to play a part.
Their hosts, Shelbourne, are currently in the middle of their domestic season and sit in fifth place in the League of Ireland Premier Division.
Following the clash in the Irish capital, Celtic will move their pre-season preparations to Portugal, where they are taking on Sporting CP before returning to the east end of Glasgow for a clash with EFL Championship side Middlesbrough on July 18.
