How to watch Motherwell v Celtic
Celtic will look to get their campaign back on track when they visit Motherwell in the first match after an extended international break on Sunday.
The defending champions may be two points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership table, but they have been left licking their wounds after suffering back-to-back defeats to Rangers either side of a Europa League loss to Ferencvaros before the three-week shutdown.
Three damaging results in quick succession cast doubt over the position of manager Martin O’Neill after the Northern Irishman admitted he would take time to consider his future. However, the 74-year-old confirmed this week that he intends to fight on and he will look for a response from his players at Fir Park.
Motherwell, meanwhile, are also looking to end their own three-match losing spree after consecutive defeats to Rangers, Aberdeen and Dundee. The Steelmen have experienced a mixed start to the season under new manager Alfred Johansson, who replaced Jens Berthel Askou in the summer following his departure to Toulouse.
‘Well are eighth in the table but only three points off the bottom so the Swedish head coach is in need of a positive upturn in results to avoid coming under pressure.
