How to watch Falkirk v Celtic in the Scottish Premiership

Celtic have the chance to extend their lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership when they visit Falkirk on Sunday.

Martin O’Neill’s side will move seven points clear with a victory at the Falkirk Stadium due to nearest challengers Rangers facing Aberdeen at Hampden in the semi-finals of the Premier Sports Cup the previous day.

The defending champions have taken 28 points from a possible 33 so far this season, but will be looking to get back on the winning trail after being held to a 2-2 draw by Dundee United at Celtic Park on Wednesday.

Falkirk, meanwhile, have hit a purple patch after a slow start to the season. John McGlynn’s men are on a three-match winning streak, including victories away at Hibs and Aberdeen, after only picking up one win across their opening eight league fixtures. As a result, the Bairns have climbed up to sixth place in the standings as they look to emulate last season’s excellent top six finish.

Falkirk haven’t beaten Celtic since March 2007 when Steven Thomson netted the only goal in a 1-0 victory at Falkirk Stadium. The only previous meeting between the sides this season ended with Celtic winning 2-1 at Parkhead on August 29 thanks to a Camilo Duran double.
