What channel is Celtic v Stuttgart? TV and live stream for Europa League play-off
How to watch Celtic v Stuttgart
Celtic return to European action on Thursday when they host German side Stuttgart in the Europa League knockout play-off round first leg.
Martin O’Neill’s side progressed out of the league phase by finishing in 21st place with 11 points while Stuttgart finished 10 places higher and claimed four more points to earn seeded status.
It promises to be a tough tie for the Scottish champions against a side who are currently fourth in the Bundesliga and into the semi-finals of the German Cup.
Celtic approach the match on the back of a 10-game unbeaten run, with their three previous matches against Dundee, Livingston and Kilmarnock all won by injury-time goals.
Stuttgart were 3-1 winners at Koln on Saturday but lost the previous weekend, going down to a 2-1 defeat at relegation-threatened St. Pauli.
It will be the first meeting of the sides since the UEFA Cup last 16 tie of 2003, which O’Neill’s men won 5-4 on aggregate en route to reaching the final, which they lost to Porto in Seville.
The match will mark O’Neill’s 1000th game as a manager which will see him inducted into the League Managers Association Hall of Fame in May.
