'Very happy': Celtic talisman has say on own transfer future after watching pals leave for big money
American defender glad to be back after serious injury
Celtic defender Cameron Carter-Vickers admits he is settled at the club despite watching some high-profile departures over the past two seasons.
Carter-Vickers has been at Celtic for five years now after making a loan move from Tottenham Hotspur - although his last campaign was brought to a shuddering halt in early October after rupturing his Achilles tendon.
The USA internationalist is now close to where he was prior to that injury and has played every match so far of the current term. He will be a key part of the Celtic team that faces LASK in the Champions League play-off on Wednesday.

A mainstay of Celtic, Carter-Vickers has watched the likes of Nicolas Kuhn, Kyogo Furuhashi, Daizen Maeda and Arne Engels leave the club for big money - but the 28-year-old insists he is content in Glasgow right now.
"I'm very happy here,” he said. “To be honest, being out for so long last year did kind of make me miss it and probably gave me a little bit more extra motivation for coming into this season. So, yes, I'm happy and just looking forward to this season really.
“I probably don't quite feel physically at 100 per cent yet. Obviously in terms of injury, I'm fine, but just in terms of regaining fitness and sharpness. But I think that's something that any player deals with throughout the course of a season. There's always ups and downs physically as you go throughout a season.
“Especially with the Achilles, it's kind of like a spring. So it's just natural that it takes a bit of time to get that last 1, 2, 3 per cent back. But yeah, I do feel like I'm in a good place as it is. It's just obviously, I don't think any player is ever happy. They're always trying to push them for more and trying to get more out of themselves.
“I do feel in a good place. It's just, it's probably more like I touched on before, just as a player, you always want more. So yeah, I feel in a good place, but pushing to try and be in an even better place.”
