Celtic’s search for a new manager continues following the surprise resignation of title-winning head coach Brendan Rodgers last Monday.
Back-to-back defeats to Dundee and Hearts, coupled with a breakdown in the relationship between the 52-year-old and the Celtic board, meant the Northern Irishman brought an end to his second spell at Celtic Park in acrimonious circumstances, with former manager Martin O’Neill placed in interim charge.
The 73-year-old manager insisted his stay at the club was only temporary, but was able to turn around Celtic’s fortunes by thumping in-form Falkirk 4-0 in the Scottish Premiership last week, before overcoming fierce rivals Rangers in the Premier Sports Cup semi-final at the weekend, winning 3-1 after extra-time. However, a dismal 3-1 defeat to FC Midtjylland in midweek was certainly damaging.
Could O’Neill be installed as the club’s next permanent manager, though? And, if not, who will be installed as the next man in the Celtic dugout?
Here are the latest odds for the next permanent Celtic manager.*
