Celtic boss Wilfried Nancy has been dismissed from his role as head coach after the dismal 3-1 defeat to Rangers at the weekend left them six points adrift in the race for the Scottish Premiership title.
The 48-year-old left MLS outfit Columbus Crew just a month ago to take the reins at Celtic, replacing interim manager Martin O’Neill, but became the first manager in the history of the club to lose all four of his opening games - their worst run since 1978.
He would achieve wins over Aberdeen and Livingston, but defeats to Dundee United and Motherwell, followed by the crushing home defeat to their fiercest rivals, saw the Celtic board bring an end to the Frenchman’s time in charge of the club after just 36 days.
The shortest managerial tenure in the Hoops’ history, we look at the early favourites for the Parkhead job. Here are the latest odds for the next permanent Celtic manager.*

15. Kevin Muscat - 14/1
Came within a whisker of being named as the new Rangers manager earlier this season before talks down. He was also linked with the assistant manager role at Celtic during the reign of Ange Postecoglou. He's priced at 14/1 to be the next Hoops boss. | Kenta Harada/Getty Images Photo: Getty Images

16. Robbie Keane - 14/1
A popular figure on the Parkhead terraces during his goal-laden loan spell at the club, Keane has enjoyed a successful start to his managerial career, winning the league with Maccabi Haifa and Ferencvaros in Israel and Hungary respectively. Having played for the club previously, the Irishman will be viewed as a favourite appointment by many. Has just signed a new deal in Budapest, though, which could scupper a move - if Celtic chose to approach him. | JACK GUEZ/AFP via Getty Images Photo: Getty Images
