Celtic will look to take the Scottish Premiership title race into the final day as they face a tricky trip to Motherwell in the Scottish Premiership at Fir Park on Wednesday (Kick-off: 8pm).
Martin O’Neill’s men took full advantage of league leaders Hearts’ slipped to a 1-1 draw at Motherwell on Saturday by downing rivals Rangers 3-1 at Parkhead just 24 hours later, thanks to a Daizen Maeda double and a first-half strike from Yang Hyun-jun.
Their hosts, Motherwell, come into the game safe on the back of just one win in their last five league games, but are safe in the knowledge that they will secure a spot in the Conference League qualifiers next season with a win over Celtic, having held a four-point cushion over fifth-place Hibs.
Both sides have their injury concerns ahead of the game, with Jens Berthel Askou and O’Neill waiting on several players’ fitness for the clash.
