Celtic experienced one of their more turbulent transfer windows in the summer, with former head Brendan Rodgers frustrated in his attempt to add numbers to his squad, culminating in a disastrous deadline day search for a striker.
A summer of change saw Nicolas Kuhn and Adam Idah become the two big-money departures from Parkhead, as they left Celtic to join Como and Swansea City, respectively. However, Celtic’s perceived failure to address holes in their squad seemingly led to a breakdown between Rodgers and the board, culminating in the former’s resignation following a 3-1 defeat to Hearts in October and the appointment of Wilfried Nancy in December.
Long-serving players Greg Taylor and Scott Bain also waved goodbye to the Scottish champions upon the expiry of their contracts in the summer, while several of the club’s youngsters went out to gain valuable experience on loan.
Here we look at the 22 Celtic players who moved away from the club before the start of the new campaign, and assess how they have done for their new teams in the first half of the season. Who has found success away from Parkhead - and who may regret their decision to leave?

1. Scott Bain - Falkirk
His move to Falkirk in the summer has paid dividends, though. Performing admirably upon their return to the Scottish Premiership, the experienced Bain has been one of the league's top-performing goalkeepers and returned to the Scotland squad last month. | (Photo: Rob Casey/SNS Group) Photo: SNS Group

2. Matthew Anderson - Kortrijk
The highly-rated Scotland youth international opted to leave Celtic in the summer in order to get regular minutes at Belgian second tier side Kortrijk. Currently clear in second-place, Anderson is a regular starter and has two assists from full-back. | Getty Images Photo: Getty Images

3. Greg Taylor - PAOK
The former title winning left-back has had a bit of a stop-start time to his career in Greece, having only started four of his new side's last 10 games. He's made 12 appearances in total, though, and will look to kick on when the league gets underway again in little over a week. Could end the season with another league title to his name, too. 4. Daniel Cummings - West Ham United
Scored 38 goals for Celtic's B team, but opted to leave in the summer after a lack of senior minutes despite his prolific form at youth level. The 19-year-old suffered an injury early into his time with the Hammers, though, and was ruled out for five months. He's gradually getting back to fitness, and has made sporadic appearances for the club's youth squads. | Getty Images Photo: Getty Images
