Kasper Hogh jets in for Celtic medical as bid for starlet rejected
Danish striker set to join champions
Kasper Hogh has arrived in London to complete his medical ahead of his transfer to Celtic.
The Scottish Premiership champions have agreed a fee in the region of £11 million with Bodo/Glimt to bring the 25-year-old Dane to Celtic Park.
Hogh was pictured arriving at Biggin Hill Airport on Sunday ahead of medical checks. Provided all goes well, he is expected to pen a contract with Celtic until the summer of 2029.

Celtic have prioritised attacking reinforcements during the summer transfer window and Hogh will become their second signing.
Colombian forward Camilo Duran arrived earlier this month for a fee of £6m and has scored three goals during pre-season, including a strike in Saturday’s 2-2 draw with AC Milan.
His arrival and the impending purchase of Hogh somewhat mitigates for the sale of Daizen Maeda to Ipswich Town, which was confirmed over the weekend. Celtic could earn up to £10m for the Japanese.
Celtic are also interested in Paderborn’s 22-year-old midfielder Mika Baur. The German club have confirmed that they have rejected a bid of £4m for the player.
Paderborn sporting director Sebastian Lange said: “Have there been offers for players during this transfer window? Yes. Are there offers right now? No. Why not? Because we rejected them all.
“There are sporting and financial reasons for this. Ultimately, we decide what is of interest to us. And everything that came in was, from a financial standpoint, of no interest to us whatsoever.”
Celtic begin their Premiership defence a week on Monday when they host Dundee and have Champions League play-offs at the end of August.
