Celtic will look to keep the pressure on Hearts at the top of the table by beating Rangers in the Scottish Premiership for the first time this season on Sunday (kick-off: 12pm).
Currently three points adrift of the league leaders with just three games to go, Martin O’Neill’s men know failure to pick up three points in this weekend’s derby could be fatal to their title hopes, while it could also prove pivotal to their hopes of finishing in the Champions League spots.
Their visitors, Rangers, are not out of the title race mathematically as it stands, but a defeat to Celtic would officially end their title hopes at the home of their biggest rivals. Back-to-back defeats against Motherwell and Hearts have them in third, and Danny Rohl’s men know failure to win this weekend could be catastrophic to their own hopes of a top-two finish.
