Celtic will look to shrug off their European disappointment and return to winning ways as they welcome Hibs to Parkhead in the Scottish Premiership this Sunday (kick-off: 3pm).
Martin O’Neill suffered only his second defeat as Celtic manager this season on Thursday, as his side were dismantled by Stuttgart in the first leg of the Europa League playoffs, with the Bundesliga outfit running out comfortable 4-1 winners in Glasgow. Unbeaten in their last six league games, though, the 73-year-old will expect a response when Hibs visit this weekend.
As for their visitors, David Gray’s side responded well to their Edinburgh derby defeat earlier in the month, as goals from Owen Eldin and Ante Suto handed them a 2-0 win over St Mirren at Easter Road last weekend. Chasing a top-four spot, they are currently five points behind Motherwell and will hope to keep the pressure on Jen Berthel Askou’s men.
