Celtic are out of the Champions League after lost their play-off round tie against Kairat Almaty on penalties.
Brendan Rodgers’ men travelled 3500 miles east to Asia following a goalless first leg in Glasgow knowing that the pressure was on to defeat their Kazakh foes.
However, they were unable to break down stubborn opponents in Almaty and after another goalless draw, they were forced to endure a penalty shoot-out.
And just like in the Scottish Cup final back in May, Celtic came up short. Adam Idah, Luke McCowan and Daizen Maeda missed from the spot and they crashed into the Europa League.
We give each player a mark out of ten for their performances in Kazakhstan.

5. Kieran Tierney
Defended well enough, but the left-back wasn't able to influence the game further forward as he would like. Still not ready to play 90 minutes and was taken off for Murray on 74 minutes. 5 | SNS Group

6. Callum McGregor
Took a bit of time to stamp his authority on the match, but ran the midfield the longer the game went on. Good penalty under immense pressure in the shootout. 6 | SNS Group

7. Reo Hatate
Had a goal-bound shot in extra time blocked. Wasn't able to find enough imagination to unlock a stuffy Kairat side. Replaced in extra time. 4 | SNS Group

8. Benjamin Nygren
Came close with a low effort at the start of extra time and saw a late shot turned around the post. Celtic weren't able to fashion enough chances for their most prolific player right now. 5 | SNS Group
