The home side had the better of the game’s chances and looked on course to break their rivals ‘invincible’ title-winning campaign after taking the lead through to Mohamed Elyounoussi’s 23rd minute header.
However, a goal from Alfredo Morelos seven minutes before half-time – his first for Rangers against Celtic at the 15th attempt – earned the champions a point and preserved their 33 match unbeaten run in the Premiership this season.
Rangers had goalkeeper Allan McGregor to thank for a series of saves as Celtic dominated the shots on goal tally, with 16 attempts to Rangers’ six, while John Kennedy’s side also enjoyed the lions share of possession.
But how did the Celtic players rate … ?

9. Odsonne Edouard - 7
A lively performace - and a superb run and cross for the opener - but should have taken one of his own chances. Knocked down from an 8 due to first half fall when he should've shot. Photo: Craig Williamson - SNS Group

10. Mohamed Elyounoussi - 8
So sharp in first half, linking up well with Edouard and a terrific diving header for opener. Not quite as dangerous after the break but still put a shift in. Photo: Craig Williamson - SNS Group

11. Callum McGregor - 7
Lovely slide-rule pass for the opener and linked up well with Laxalt down the left. Put in a few decent crosses of his own and was positive throughout. Photo: Craig Foy - SNS Group

12. James Forrest - 5
Came on in an unfamiliar central role for Turnbull with 12 minutes remaining, and had a few decent touches. Encouraging after several months out injured. Photo: Craig Foy - SNS Group
