They left it late but Celtic managed to avoid another embarrassing defeat in the Scottish Premiership – not that a struggling point at Pittodrie will do much to quell the dissension among the club’s support at the end of this miserable season.
Still, one point is better than none, and thanks to a last-second Leigh Griffiths header from close range, John Kennedy’s men were able to leave the north east with a share of the spoils.
The home side had led from the early going after Lewis Ferguson directed an Andy Considine header from a set-piece past goalkeeper Scott Bain.

Really lively in the first half and unfortunate not to score at least once, including having a goal disallowed, but was hooked on the hour-mark after a slow start to the second period. Photo: Craig Williamson - SNS Group

At times creative with his passing but was often a bit slack too. Photo: Craig Foy - SNS Group

A peripheral figure in the game until he popped up with a perfect cross for Griffiths to head home. Photo: Craig Foy - SNS Group

Brought on to bring added impetus to the attack, but Celtic probably got worse in that sense after his introduction. Photo: Craig Foy - SNS Group
