After Greg Taylor had fired Celtic into a 64th minute lead, Rangers hit back, equalising through Scott Arfield 12 minutes before the end of the 90 before a Carl Starfelt own goal in the second-half of extra-time sealed a joyous afternoon for the blue side of Glasgow.
The Hoops players struggled to find their form as they were beaten by a sharper and stronger Rangers side on the day – a somewhat surprising element given the Ibrox side’s European exertions in midweek as opposed to Celtic’s nine-day preparation time.
Here is how each Celtic player marked out of 10.

Struggled to get much change out of the Rangers defence and was subbed before the hour after going down with cramp. 5 Photo: Rob Casey - SNS Group

10. Daizen Maeda - 5
Was willing to run the channels but his end product lacked any real quality. 5 Photo: Craig Foy - SNS Group

11. Jota - 6
Probably Celtic's most effective attacker, but he was unable to conjure up anything of note. 6 Photo: Craig Foy - SNS Group

12. Kyogo Furuhashi - 5
Came on after 60 minutes but had little to shout about. Looked rusty and unable to explode past players. 5 Photo: Craig Foy - SNS Group
