Celtic’s slow but steady work in the transfer window has resulted in them spending £17million in transfer fees so far - but if rumours are true, they aren’t done yet.
After snatching the title from Hearts on the final day of last season, Martin O’Neill’s men are determined not to leave it as close this year and make vital additions that can set them apart from the rest. The dual striking additions of Camilo Duran and Kasper Hogh are an excellent start, but the veteran manager won’t want to stop his business there.
Ahead of their league opener against Dundee on Monday, the popular manager confirmed that work to bring in more new faces is ongoing, saying: “Obviously, we're hoping that. It's not easy. If some good players go, you're trying to replace them. We actually have spoken to other targets. There is a definite strong willingness for players to want to come to the football club, which is very encouraging.”

9. RW: Fares Ghedjemis
The club have renewed their interest in the Algeria international, who can play on both flanks. An important addition if they can get it over the line. Heavily linked with Rangers in the past week so chuck some city bragging rights in there for good measure. | Getty Images Photo: Getty Images

10. LW: Sebastian Tounekti/James Forrest
He's been inconsistent since his arrival last season, but Celtic will be hoping that Tounekti can kick on this season. Veteran winger Forrest offers competition on both flanks. | SNS Group Photo: SNS Group

11. CF: Kasper Hogh/Camilo Duran
Celtic have hugely bolstered their frontline with the duel £17million arrival of Hogh and Duran, who joined from Champions League sides Bodo/Glimt and Qarabag respectively. | SNS Group Photo: SNS Group
