Brendan Rodgers to sign new Celtic contract - reports
Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has been rewarded with a new long-term contract, according to reports.
The club teased a “major announcement” ahead of today’s press conference at 2.30pm. The Scottish Sun have since reported that it concerns Rodgers and a lucrative new contract.
Rodgers joined Celtic last summer on a one-year rolling deal. After the success of this season, with Celtic in pursuit of the treble having wrapped up the League Cup and Ladbrokes Premiership, in addition to qualifying for the Champions League, the club are understandably keen to get the Northern Irishman tied down to a longer deal.
