Euro 2012: Big day for Danny Welbeck
IF England are to record their first competitive win over Sweden, the Manchester United striker could be the man to undo the Scandinavians.
Andriy Shevchenko’s movement unsettled a leaden-footed Swedish defence in their defeat to Ukraine and Welbeck’s pace and knack of finding space could reap similar rewards. Impressive in the 1-1 draw with France, Welbeck will also be well aware that United team-mate Wayne Rooney is available again for the final Group D game against Ukraine.
