2027 Ryder Cup ticket cost announced - and it's a record in Europe
Irish residents to get first crack at tickets for centenary edition at Adare Manor
The cost of a ticket for one the three match days at next year’s Ryder Cup at Adare Manor in Ireland will be €499, it has been announced by the organisers.
The hefty figure is the most expensive for a Ryder Cup in Europe, with The Scotsman understanding that a ticket for the 2023 match at Marco Simone Golf Club in Rome cost €250.
But, at the same time, the equivalent ticket is cheaper than the $750 (€638) fans had to cough up for last year’s match on US soil at Bethpage Black in New York.
Organisers also believe it is “proportionate” when compared to other big sporting events, with two sessions taking place on the opening two days then 12 singles on the concluding day.

The chance to be at next September’s centenary event in County Limerick is being offered to Irish residents in the first instance through an exclusive ticket window, which opens this Friday, before a global ticket ballot opens on 3 June.
Irish residents are also being offered a first bite at a limited number of tickets for the Tuesday and Wednesday practice days at a cost €89 and the Thursday practice day, which will include the Opening Ceremony, from €179.
Practice day tickets for fans under the age of 16, meanwhile, can be purchased from €20 on the Tuesday and Wednesday and €30 on the Thursday.
Following the exclusive Irish window, fans from around the world will then be able to apply for general admission daily tickets as part of the global ticket ballot which opens on Wednesday 3 June. Prices for match-day tickets and practice day tickets will be the same as those in the Irish window.
Fan experience to be ‘enhanced’ at Adare Manor
“There is already tremendous excitement and anticipation about the Ryder Cup heading back to Ireland (The K Club hosted the 2006 contest) and to Adare Manor next year,” said Richard Atkinson, the European Tour Group’s chief Ryder Cup officer.
“We are therefore delighted to announce these details today of how fans both from the island of Ireland and from around the world, can attend the 100th anniversary edition of golf’s greatest team competition.

“We have extensive plans in place to enhance the onsite experience for fans attending the 2027 Ryder Cup, including a record 20,000 grandstand seats and an increased number of giant screens. For the first time, there will also be an Official Ryder Cup campsite with entertainment, full details of which will be announced in due course.”
The 2027 Ryder Cup, which will see Luke Donald attempt to create history by leading Europe to a third consecutive win over the Americans, takes place on 17-19 September.
