Great pricing options
Youth (13-17) and Junior (0-12) prices are also available across the whole week from July 8 - 12 – making it perfect for a great family day out:
- Youths at half price of adult tickets
- Juniors are completely free
Wednesday’s Family Day includes:
Immersive golf challenges
At the heart of the Fan Zone sits a series of interactive golf-based experiences, allowing fans to test their skills in creative and memorable formats:
- Light House Landing: invites fans to chip over water onto an island green, set against theming inspired by Fidra Island and the local East Lothian coastline. This activation combines skill with scenic storytelling, celebrating the natural environment around The Renaissance Club.
- Return of the Long Putt Challenge replicates the drama of the 18th hole, with a 20-metre putting challenge that mirrors the slope, visuals, and features of the closing stretch.
Cross-sport & digital experiences
The Fan Zone expands beyond traditional golf to appeal to a broader audience:
- Summer of Sport Activation introduces a fast-paced, football-inspired challenge where fans hit golf-themed targets using footballs, as a nod to the World Cup taking place this year.
- The Arcade offers a futuristic digital zone featuring VR, simulator technology, and interactive golf gaming. Designed as a high-energy, visually engaging space, it brings cutting-edge technology into the fan experience and appeals to younger and tech-driven audiences.
Zoolab and The Academy

Little Links returns as a dedicated children’s zone, featuring a build-your-own putting course, interactive colouring wall, and a hands-on wildlife experience delivered in collaboration with Zoolab. It also acts as the starting point for the on-course nature trail, encouraging exploration and learning about Scottish wildlife.
The Academy provides under-18 fans with the opportunity to receive professional coaching in a structured, accessible format. With multiple hitting bays and short lessons, this activation aims to introduce and develop golf skills, delivering hundreds of free coaching sessions across the event.
Live Entertainment
On the Family Day is Clan Macliche, a Scottish stilt walking, bag piper and drummer duo for a real Scottish welcome! There will be roaming artists around the 15th hole and Fan Zone.
During the week is another year of Fringe by The Tee with headliners Toploader and The Feeling. Live entertainment every day includes Q&A’s, games, DJs, Scottish Wildlife Shows and local artists.
