Every road closure for Take That in Glasgow

Here are all of the parking restrictions and road closures you need to know about ahead of Take That’s Glasgow gigs.

Take That will soon arrive in Glasgow to entertain around 100,000 fans over the weekend.

Returning to Hampden Park for the third time in their careers, the English band with Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald will be joined by the likes of Belinda Carlisle and The Script for two huge shows on Friday, June 12 and Saturday, June 13.

While there will be additional rail services running between Mount Florida and Glasgow Central, a number of road closures and restrictions will be in place around Hampden for Take That’s gigs.

Here is everything you need to know about road closures for Take That in Glasgow.

Take That Glasgow Road Closures

Take That will be performing at Hampden Park as part of their Circus Tour on Friday, June 12 and Saturday, June 13.

In order to ensure the events are managed safely for concertgoers, there are a number of road closures and restrictions in place around the stadium enforced by Glasgow City Council.

From 6pm on Thursday, June 11 until midnight on Saturday, June 13, there will restrictions prohibiting waiting, loading and unloading on the following roads:

Calder Street between Polmadie Road and Aitkenhead Road
Polmadie Road between Aitkenhead Road and Siding Lane
Polmadie Street between Aitkenhead Road and Polmadie Street
Jessie Street for its full length

Between 10am and midnight on Friday, June 12 and Saturday, June 13, there are waiting, loading, unloading and vehicle movement restrictions covering:

Prospecthill Drive for its full length
Hanningshaw Place for its full length
Sommerville Drive for its full length
Letherby Drive between Carmunock Road and Hampden Stadium

There will be no waiting, loading or unloading or vehicle movements allowed between 3pm and midnight on Friday, June 12 and Saturday, June 13 on:

Prospecthill Drive for its full length
Hanningshaw Place for its full length
Bolivar Lane for its full length
Bolivar Terrace between Stanmore Road and Sommerville Drive
Lindores Street between Cumming Drive and Sommerville Dr
Kinghorn Drive between Mount Annan Drive and Hampden Park
