The AJ Bell Great Scottish Run 202 festival kicked off today with 2,000 youngsters taking part in the Junior and Mini running events in Glasgow.
Stars at the start line cheering on the kids included Olympian Eilish McColgan and Gladiators Athena and Hammer, who rang the starting bell at 9am for the Junior 2.5km race.
The toddler and mini dash took part later in the morning, with children between ages 3 and 8 as well as their families getting involved in the fun. Of course, the fancy dress outfits were in full swing with Batman and Robin to name a few spotted at the starting line.
The mascots also got in on the action, kicking off their dash at 10.15am.
