Calvin Harris Glasgow: Every road closure in place for Calvin Harris at Hampden Park
Here are all of the road closures in place for Calvin Harris in Glasgow this weekend.
Calvin Harris will soon take over Hampden Park for two huge Glasgow homecoming gigs.
The Scottish DJ and producer is set to play the iconic venue on Saturday and Sunday, with the first night due to be broadcast around the UK.
With a capacity of more than 50,000 people each night, there are a number of road closures in place around the stadium with both fans and locals asked to observe the temporary restrictions.
Here is everything you need to know about Glasgow road closures for Calvin Harris at Hampden.
Calvin Harris Glasgow road closures
Gates for Harris’ two shows will open at 5pm each night, but restrictions and closures affecting the surrounding area will come into force much earlier.

From 6pm on Friday, July 31 until midnight on Sunday, August 2, there will restrictions prohibiting waiting, loading and unloading on the following roads:
- Calder Street between Polmadie Road and Aitkenhead Road
- Polmadie Road between Aitkenhead Road and Siding Lane
- Polmadie Street between Aitkenhead Road and Polmadie Street
- Jessie Street for its full length
There are restrictions covering waiting, loading, unloading and vehicle movement from 10am until midnight on Friday, July 31, Saturday, August 1, and Sunday, August 2 which cover the following roads:
- Prospecthill Drive for its full length
- Hanningshaw Place for its full length
- Sommerville Drive for its full length
- Letherby Drive between Carmunock Road and Hampden Stadium

There will be no waiting, loading or unloading or vehicle movements allowed between 3pm and midnight on Saturday, August 1 and Sunday, August 2 which will impact:
- Prospecthill Drive for its full length
- Hanningshaw Place for its full length
- Bolivar Lane for its full length
- Bolivar Terrace between Stanmore Road and Sommerville Drive
- Lindores Street between Cumming Drive and Sommerville Dr
- Kinghorn Drive between Mount Annan Drive and Hampden Park
Further road restrictions limiting waiting, loading and unloading vehicles are also in place from 7pm on Saturday, August 1 until 1am on Sunday, August 2, and from 7pm on Sunday, August 2 until 1am on Monday, August 3 covering:
- Cathkinview Road for its full length
- Clincart Road for its full length
- Bolton Drive for its full length
- Florida Street for its full length
- Florida Drive for its full length
- McLennan Street for its full length
There is likely to be traffic in the surrounding areas on the dates of the gigs, with the council advising fans to prepare for queues.
