Those looking to do something in Edinburgh this weekend can make their most of Doors Open Days 2026, as locations around the city welcome visitors from near and far.
From locations typically not open to the public to those offering special tours and talks, the annual heritage event will take place on Saturday, September 16 and Sunday, September 27.
Whether you’re interested in local history and fancy a trip to Barnton Bunker or Riddle’s Close, or you’d prefer to experience the past in a different way by listening to the last remaining cinema organ made by Edinburgh organ builders Ingram & Co at the Corstorphine Astoria Centre, there is something on offer for everyone throughout the final weekend of the 2026 festival.
