There are thousands of Oasis Live ‘27 tickets for sale and guarantees in place for desperate fans who want to buy them but also drawbacks to be aware of
When demand for Oasis Live ‘27 tickets dramatically outstrips supply then countless fans will be left bitterly disappointed, especially if they also missed out on tickets in 2025. It means that Oasis fans in desperation will turn to the resale market but they face a dilemma.
As is often the case, Ticketmaster is the official retailer of Oasis tickets and those visiting the website will find Oasis tour dates aggressively marked LIMITED AVAILABILITY. In practice, this actually means that no tickets are available. Registration to get an email with a code in the Oasis ticket lottery is closed but all is not lost.
In the UK, the official reseller of Oasis tickets is Twickets whose official resale tickets are yet to hit the market and will only be available much closer to the start of the tour next summer.
That said, the reality is that there are hundreds if not thousands of Oasis tickets for sale for those who know where to look. There are guarantees in place for desperate fans entering the ticket resale market but also a couple of potential drawbacks.
Firstly, and most obviously, fans can expect to pay a significant premium on resale sites such as Viagogo, StubHub and Vivid Tickets.
On StubHub, which appears to have many hundreds of Oasis tickets on sale, the cheapest we found was £303.02. That is for the gig at Celtic Park, in Glasgow, on Saturday, May 29, 2027, a ticket that would have cost the original buyer £71.50.
For the six shows starting at Knebworth on Saturday, September 11, 2027, the cheapest tickets Viagogo is advertising are £313 for general admission. Originally, these would have cost £170.50.
Looking at Vivid Seats, tickets are being advertised for sale from as little as £285 for the concert in Manchester on Friday, June 4, 2027. That said, on clicking through, we found the price of two tickets had increased to £351.61 each for reasons we can’t explain. Maybe just a glitch.
As well as price fluctuations on resale sites, resellers occupy something of a grey area in the market for concert tickets. The key bit of information is that ticket resellers are not official outlets like Ticketmaster or Live Nation.
Essentially, they allow fans to buy from other fans or anyone lucky enough to have got hold of tickets in the online logjam that takes place whenever Oasis tickets go on sale.
The risk fans run in buying from resale sites such as Viagogo, StubHub or Vivid Tickets is that in the terms and conditions of the original sale, there is the warning that tickets are non-transferable and that fans with second-hand tickets may be refused entry.
In order to reassure fans, Viagogo, StubHub and Vivid Tickets all offer guarantees.
Viagogo’s guarantee says that buyers will get their tickets on time and have “access to comparable or better replacement tickets, or the option to receive a full refund in the rare instance there’s an issue with the original order”. It also offers a full cash refund if an event is cancelled and not rescheduled. It has a 3.9-star rating, out of a possible five stars, on TrustPilot, from more than 52,000 reviews.
Similarly, StubHub has its FanProtect Guarantee offers four promises. These are that tickets will arrive on time, that tickets will be valid for entry, that if there’s a problem buyers will get comparable replacement tickets or their money back, and that if the event is cancelled and not rescheduled, people will be refunded in full.
Vivid’s 100% buyer guarantee “promises that your transaction will be secure, that your tickets will be delivered before your event, and that those tickets will be valid and authentic. It has a 4.3-star rating on TrustPilot from more than 120,000 reviews.
So, fans desperate for Oasis tickets face higher prices and the potential risk that tickets are deemed invalid by venues. That said, the major resellers mentioned above are large-scale international operations with many years of experience and do have the aforementioned guarantees in place to ensure that buyers get what exactly what they pay for.
The resale market for Oasis tickets is not exactly the Wild West but fans need to be armed with the right information on how it all works and the possible pitfalls before they shell out hundreds of pounds.
