West Approach Road to close this weekend for bridge repairs
The West Approach Road will be closed to all traffic this weekend as bridge repairs at Russell Road get underway.
The major route into the heart of the city will be shut between Roseburn Street and Dundee Street from 7pm on Friday, 27 July until 6am on Monday, 30 July.
A diversion will be in place via Stevenson Road - Balgreen Road - Gorgie Road - Henderson Terrace - Dundee Street.
Football fans travelling to the Scottish League Cup match between Hearts and Inverness CT at Tynecastle on Sunday have been urged to be aware of the closure and follow the diversions.
