5. The Shore
Can't really get more spooky than a dockyard or harbour shrouded by cloud with boats creaking as they rock slowly in the water. That was likely to be the case not far from Leith's The Shore on Edinburgh's recent foggy night. Photo: JPI Media

6. Scott Monument
Another incredible shot of Scott Monument towering above the Capital's streets and completely enveloped in the November mist. The monument's night lighting certainly helps add to the dramatic effect of the fog. Photo: JPI Media

7. Buses heading up The Mound
A Lothian bus heading up The Mound in the thick fog. It can't have been too easy driving through the heavy mist that sat in Edinburgh's streets for most of Monday evening. Photo: Edinburgh Spotlight

8. Cockburn Street
Cockburn Street looking particularly haunting with its street lights glaring through the misty November night. Edinburgh has had moments of looking a like a ghost town since lockdown hit in March, but with last night's November fog, it certainly looked the part. Photo: Edinburgh Spotlight
