This is how bad the decaying sculpture on Kirkcaldy Esplanade has become.

It’s been compared to a “whale’s penis”, which is now falling apart just three years after being unveiled.

The public art work, by renowned artist David Mach, features a 30 foot tall piece of driftwood covered in silvery nails, many of which have rusted or dropped off.

The wood on the £35,000 sculpture, which sits outside Morrisons, is also rotting and flaking off.

What do you think? Should it be removed? Repaired? Or replaced?
