Britain's threat level has been downgraded to '˜severe', Theresa May has said.

The UK threat level has been reduced from critical, which means attack is imminent, to severe, which means attack is highly likely.

Operation Temperer, which allows military to be deployed to key sites, will continue until the end of the bank holiday, Prime Minister Theresa May said.

The new security status comes as police evacuated an area of Moss Side in Manchester, as part of a search linked to the Manchester Arena attack.
