A WOMAN of 53 died yesterday when her Land Rover was swept down a swollen moorland river after she had apparently tried to negotiate a ford. North Yorkshire Police launched a search after the vehicle was found submerged under a bridge at Hartoft on the North Yorkshire Moors. A body was found in the water later.
