Call to resolve child heart surgery issue
A GROUP representing 15 councils in Yorkshire and Humberside yesterday called for a speedy resolution to talks about restarting children’s heart surgery at Leeds General Infirmary.
Surgery was halted last Thursday after suggestions of an abnormally high death rate.
