Section of Edinburgh Bypass closed after vehicle catches fire
A section of the Edinburgh City Bypass was closed this afternoon when a vehicle fire transferred to a grass verge.
Emergency services rushed to the scene of the incident and traffic disruption ensued as the fire progressed.
The affected section of carriageway was temporarily closed while emergency services cleared the area.
All lanes were declared open at around 17:40pm.
Police said there were no injuries.
