Ben Nevis: Skier dies in hospital after mountain rescue in Scottish Highlands
The man was among several rescued from the area on Tuesday.
A skier has died a day after he was rescued in the Nevis Range area of the Highlands.
Emergency services were called to report of an injured man near Torlundy at around 2pm on Tuesday.

The man, who has not been named, was taken to hospital but he died on Wednesday.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said on Friday: “There are no suspicious circumstances, and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.”
The skier was among several people rescued from the area around Ben Nevis on Tuesday amid heavy snow.
Lochaber Mountain Rescue said by early evening three simultaneous were underway, concluding early on Wednesday morning.
One involved a “well-equipped walker” who got into trouble descending from the mountain.
The others involved climbers on the north face of Ben Nevis and the west face of Aonach Mòr.
The crew said on Wednesday: “Whilst yesterday started as a beautiful day, gale force winds in the evening and through the night moved large quantities of snow around the mountain.
“This made the technical rescue especially challenging and in the time between these two rescues, there was a significant avalanche in the ‘Red Burn’ area with the debris crossing the mountain path.
“We urge all those heading into the mountains to check the relevant weather and avalanche forecasts before heading out, along with the conditions they are likely to encounter on their chosen objective.”
