Firefighters have worked through the night tackling a blaze at an inn in Fife.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) sent several appliances to the scene at St Michael’s Inn in Leuchars when the alarm was raised at 10.11pm on Tuesday.
At the height of the incident nine fire appliances and four specialist resources were at the scene dealing with the “well developed” blaze, SFRS said.

Six appliances and three specialist resources were still at the scene at 6.45am on Wednesday.
Fife Council said motorists were facing disruption due to the blaze.
In a post on social media the council said: “Major disruption to roads in North East Fife, towards Dundee, due to fire at St Michaels Inn.”
The roads affected are the A914 Dairsie to St Michaels, A919 Leuchars to St Michaels, B945 Tayport to St Michaels, C12 between A92 and A914 from Forgan Roundabout to St Michaels.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 10.40pm on Tuesday, 28 April, 2026, we received a report of a fire at St Michaels Inn, Leuchars.
“All roads are still closed surrounding the junction at the hotel.
“The A914 is restricted between Forgan Roundabout and St Michaels and there are also restrictions affecting the A919 to Leuchars and B945 to Tayport.
