All the flights, trains and ferries cancelled in Scotland due to storm Boelo
The storm has brought transport disruption to Scotland
Trains, flights and ferry sailings have been cancelled across Scotland this morning as Storm Boelo continues to batter the country.
Here is a list of transport disruption announced today as a result of the storm.
Trains
ScotRail said speed restrictions will be in place on all routes across Scotland on Sunday. These restrictions mean trains will operate at lower speeds than normal, resulting in longer journey times, delays and some service alterations.
In addition to speed restrictions, the following routes will be closed or have services cancelled today.
Glasgow Central – Ayr: No trains operating between Kilwinning and Ayr.
Glasgow Queen Street – Oban / Mallaig: No trains operating between Fort William and Mallaig and between Crianlarich and Oban.
Inverness – Kyle of Lochalsh: No trains operating between Kyle of Lochalsh and Achnashellach.
Inverness – Wick / Thurso: No trains operating between Helmsdale and Wick / Thurso.

Ferries
CalMac said 27 of its 30 routes are currently affected by the storm, with many sailings cancelled today and others listed as subject to short notice cancellation or delay.
Some routes have already announced knock-on effects into Monday. The Claonaig to Lochranza route has already stated the 8.45am from Lochranza on Monday will be cancelled due to MV Catriona berthing overnight in Tarbert because of the weather.
P&O Ferries said sailings between Cairnryan and Larne in Northern Ireland at 8am and 12pm are cancelled, while Stena Line said its Superfast ferries from Cairnryan to Belfast were also off this morning, with the 5.45pm sailing listed as “in doubt”.

Flights
Aberdeen Airport has seen almost all flights cancelled this morning, including routes to Amsterdam, London Heathrow, Sumburgh, Kirkwall and Newquay. Others are still listed as scheduled from this afternoon, however are subject to change.
Glasgow Airport has seen the majority of flights depart this morning, however some, including those to London Heathrow and Dublin, as well as Sumburgh, Kirkwall and Belfast, have been cancelled.
Edinburgh Airport has warned customers that the weather conditions “may impact flight schedules”. Among flights cancelled this morning are a number to London Heathrow and Dublin.

Roads
The A82 at Milton near Dunbarton is closed in both directions due to flooding on the carriageway, while the A83 is closed in both directions at Inveraray and the A78 at Largs is also shut both ways, both due to a fallen tree.
Other routes affected this morning by fallen trees include the A830 at Corpach and the A75 at Carsluith.
At Ayton in the Scottish Borders, the A1 is closed in both directions due to power cables on the carriageway.
All Borders Buses services have been cancelled for the remainder of today, with the exception of the B1 and 418.
Bridges also faced restrictions amid high winds. The Queensferry Crossing, M90 and the Clackmannanshire Bridge A876 have been closed to high sided vehicles on Sunday, and a 30mph speed limit has been imposed on other traffic.
The Dornoch Bridge, near Tain on the A9, has been closed to all vehicles because of strong winds, while Kessock Bridge, near Inverness, has also been closed to high vehicles.
