A music legend has been spotted at a rock 'n' roll bar in Glasgow, to the delight of staff at the popular venue.
Former Led Zeppelin singer Robert Plant dropped in to Buck’s Bar, on West Regent Street, on Tuesday evening ahead of a gig in the city tonight.
Plant was the lead singer of the rock band Led Zeppelin from 1968 until their break-up in 1980 and has since had a successful solo career.

He is currently on tour with his latest album, Saving Grace, and will play at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall on Wednesday evening.

In a post on Instagram, staff at Buck’s Bar shared their delight at the surprise visit alongside a picture of the star.
The rock star posed with a staff member and gave a thumbs up to the camera.
The post read: “Nothing major happened at Buck’s Bar today… Except for a bona fide rock God, the greatest ever singer of the mightiest force in the history of rock n roll dropping in!!
“It was an honour and a privilege to host former Led Zeppelin singer Robert Plant and his incredible new band Saving Grace tonight ahead of their sell out show in Glasgow tomorrow.”
The star’s Glasgow gig kicks off his international tour.
He will perform at Edinburgh’s Usher Hall on Thursday before heading down south for three shows.
