She has since walked more than 1,000 miles, pitching her tent everywhere from the Borders to the Highlands and islands, as well as enjoying the hospitality of countless friends, contacts and strangers.

Katharine joined Alistair Grant, The Scotsman’s political editor, on the latest episode of The Steamie podcast to talk about exactly why she decided to walk around Scotland.
