Nurse Sandie Peggie alleges her union did not support her when she was suspended by NHS Fife.
Sandie Peggie - probably Scotland’s most famous nurse - has given evidence at her second employment tribunal on Wednesday.
Ms Peggie became the centre of a media and political storm when she began her ground-breaking employment tribunal proceedings against NHS Fife.
And now she is going up against her union - the Royal College of Nursing - which she says failed to support her after she was suspended following an incident with transgender woman Dr Beth Upton in the women’s changing rooms. The union denies all allegations.
Ms Peggie gave hours of evidence, facing questions from her own lawyer and the KC representing the RCN.
Former MP Neale Hanvey also gave evidence.
The tribunal will return on Thursday with more of the witnesses appearing on behalf of Ms Peggie.
Ms Peggie won a claim for harassment against NHS Fife in December, but her other allegations of discrimination and victimisation were dismissed.
All claims against Dr Upton, who has since moved to Australia, were also dismissed.
Ms Peggie is appealing that decision and the case is expected to be heard next year.
