M80: Major motorway closed as police respond to overnight 'incident'

Drivers have been warned of “long delays” after the road was closed overnight.
The M80 is closed southbound near Haggs, Falkirk, as police responding to an ongoing incident.
The major road was closed overnight, with Traffic Scotland reporting the incident started at around 2.18am on Tuesday morning.
In an updated at 7.40am, police said they were responding to a report of “concern for a person”.
Drivers have been told to use alternative routes where possible.
However, a diversion has been put in place with traffic being directed locally to junction six at Old Inns.
