Only around a dozen protesters turned up, with police officers far outnumbering them, according to one onlooker.

These photos show the police crackdown on the ‘Scotland Against Lockdown’ protest, which took place at lunchtime outside the Scottish Parliament today. Although only a handful of people attended, First Minister Nicola Sturgeon described the event as “deeply irresponsible”.
